On Friday 5 May 2017, De Luifelbaan in Leiden will be dominated by the 5 May Braderie Luifelbaan. With numerous branches, there really is something fun for everyone to find and do. Bevrijdingspop Haarlem will be organized on Thursday 4 May and Friday 5 May 2017. During this festival (the oldest Liberation Festival in the Netherlands) there are numerous performances. The event kicks off with a Commemorative Concert on Thursday, May 4. On Friday 5 May the party will start with the lighting of the liberation fire and numerous musical performances.

The Food Festival Lepeltje Lepeltje starts in Apeldoorn on Friday 5 May. The festival lasts throughout the Liberation weekend from 5 May to 7 May 2017.
