It only takes two hours from Paris to get to Deauville, luckily it is (only) 25°C, finally we know how to appreciate the mildness of Normandy. This coastal town knows how to seduce us with its large beach bordered by the famous boards with famous names. You can relax and admire the summer exhibition "Artists in Normandy", artists bringing together in particular Delacroix, Monet, Daubigny, Renoir, who knew how to sublimate Normandy through their works. Or enjoy the animated and themed evenings to enjoy a little more summer as the start of the new school year approaches.
We want to gain height, to breathe the pure mountain air so head for Les Arcs 1950. A resort in the Alps as beautiful in summer as in winter, its small village in the hollow of the mountain, makes us think of a small doll village. Between walks and many sporting activities (mountain biking, golf, rafting, etc.), the serenity of the mountains will make us forget our daily grind. This weekend will be perfect because in Les Arcs it is currently 23°C maximum.
If we want a more drastic change, let's discover the Basque coast! A charming country mixing the delicious Basque cake with the many myths and legends of the region. Border with Spain, you can also enjoy tapas bars during a magnificent evening in the center of the city. For the day, let yourself be tempted by a moment on the beach or why not go inland to visit the caves of Sare?
A Catalan look? Not false ! Yet this ski resort in the Pyrenees does not suffer from the heat. The perfect position to go swimming and at the same time enjoy the magnificent mountain landscapes. At more than 2800 meters above sea level, the heat wave will not catch up with us. The best spot will be an incredible view of the domain thanks to the paraglider. A weekend certainly relaxing but full of sensations!
A sports weekend? This is the perfect opportunity to go to Vendée, to Saint-Jean-de-Monts. To discover the resort and admire its charm, you are spoiled for choice:bike, horse, sand yacht, rollerblades... at low tide the main activity is shellfish fishing. We enjoy the tranquility and charm of the region while forgetting the stress of work.
