A leaking gel or cream can turn your suitcase into a mess. As seasoned travelers know, this simple double-bagging trick with freezer bags keeps everything contained and dry.
All you need are a few freezer bags—at least two for reliability.
Follow these steps to protect your luggage:
1. Grab at least two freezer bags.
2. Place your perfume, toothpaste, gel, sunscreen, shampoo, face cream, body lotion, and other liquids into the first bag.
3. If you have many products, use multiple bags.
4. Insert the filled bag into a second bag for extra protection.
5. Seal each bag securely.
6. Pack everything into your suitcase.
Your toiletries stay leak-proof. If a cap loosens, liquids contain within the inner bag. If that bag punctures, the outer one catches it—no suitcase disaster!
