Biré Bitori: Mexico's Daring Cliffside Restaurant Suspended 246 Meters Above Copper Canyon

Designed by renowned architectural firm Tall Arquitectos, Biré Bitori—also known as the Copper Canyon Cocktail Bar—perches dramatically on a cliffside in Mexico's Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. Spanning two floors and suspended 246 meters above the ground, its foundations anchor securely into the rock while three-quarters of the structure cantilevers into the void, offering breathtaking vistas of Basaseachi Falls and the majestic Copper Canyon.

As reported by Le Figaro, the lower level houses a sophisticated restaurant with a central glass floor, allowing diners to gaze directly down at the vertigo-inducing landscape below. The upper level features an observation terrace overlooking the dining area, perfect for starry-night cocktails, complemented by a serene swimming pool for leisurely laps between drinks.

Under the direction of acclaimed chef Maria Andrea Payne, the menu highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Furniture crafted by regional artisans adorns the space, with white parasols providing shade from the sun. Tables are strategically placed along expansive glass walls for optimal views, while the central glass floor invites the bold to experience the thrill of dining in mid-air. This extraordinary venue promises an unforgettable culinary adventure.
