Free WiFi at Airports: Which European Hubs Offer Unlimited Access?

With All Saints' Day holidays kicking off on October 20, 2016, many travelers are jetting off to unwind after the back-to-school hustle. Flying offers speed and convenience, but long airport waits can drag on—even with duty-free distractions. Finding a free seat to read or browse your phone helps, though international data roaming adds up quickly. Flight search expert Skyscanner has compiled a list of airports where you can connect for free.

48% of Major European Airports Provide Free, Unlimited WiFi

Skyscanner reports that nearly half of Europe's key airports offer unlimited free WiFi. Standouts include Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly, Lyon-Saint Exupéry, and Nice-Côte d'Azur. You'll also find complimentary access at Alicante, Barcelona-El Prat, Amsterdam, Ankara Esenboğa, Antalya, Birmingham-West Midlands, Copenhagen-Kastrup, Dublin, Izmir-Adnan Menderes, Frankfurt, Gran Canaria, Helsinki-Vantaa, Istanbul Atatürk, London-Heathrow, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, Milan (Linate and Malpensa), Moscow (Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo), Munich, Palma de Mallorca, Prague, Rome-Fiumicino, St. Petersburg-Pulkovo, Tenerife, Vienna, and Warsaw. For others, expect a free trial (20 minutes to 3 hours), then paid options like €13 for 2 hours in Zurich, €12 for 4 hours in Düsseldorf, or €9.90 for unlimited in Marseille-Provence.
