To deliver these low fares, Norwegian Air is optimizing costs across the board. They'll use fuel-efficient Boeing 737 MAX aircraft with advanced engines. Flights will depart from and arrive at more affordable secondary airports. To offset this, expect fees for checked baggage and seat selection at £50 (≈€55). Don't forget the cost of getting to Edinburgh, but overall, it's a fraction of typical New York flight prices.
