St. Patrick's Day: 300+ Global Landmarks Glow Green in Celebration

On March 17, the world comes alive for St. Patrick's Day, Ireland's cherished national holiday honoring its patron saint. This vibrant tradition sees over 300 iconic landmarks and UNESCO World Heritage sites illuminated in brilliant green. In its 9th edition, the Netherlands joins the festivities, with landmarks like Rotterdam's Euromast, the Ferris wheel on Scheveningen Pier, and Amsterdam's Sky Lounge turning green.

This year's lineup impresses with more than 300 glowing icons. New participants include London's Trafalgar Square fountain, Ontario's Wawa Goose monument, Strasbourg's Palais de l'Europe, Stuttgart's Königsbau, and Hanoi's Pen monument. Returning favorites feature Rome's Colosseum, Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer, Niagara Falls, and the London Eye. Dutch highlights include newcomers Euromast Rotterdam, Sky Lounge Amsterdam, Uilenburgersjoel Amsterdam, and Dot Groningen, plus repeat glow-ups at Skyview-de Pier in Scheveningen, Splendor Amsterdam, and Weert's windmill.
