Survey: 43% of Women Aged 18-40 Find Babymoons Unromantic

According to a recent D-reizen survey of 385 Dutch respondents, about 43% of women aged 18-40 do not view a babymoon—the last pre-baby getaway with their partner—as romantic at all.

You might expect a babymoon to feel like a romantic escape, but reality often differs. A quarter of these women say holidays feel more romantic when they're not pregnant and more at ease in their bodies. For 18%, a babymoon is the last thing they want, citing issues like a large belly or swollen ankles. For full romance on the road, D-reizen suggests an extra trip before pregnancy instead.

Pregnancy Bucket List
Even so, babymoons remain hugely popular, ranking #2 on the bucket list for pregnant women aged 18-40. Half are considering one.

Babymoon Budgets Stay Practical Popularity doesn't mean splurging: 73% of these women don't want to overspend, and 27% insist on keeping costs in line with their average holidays.
