Hiking in Ibiza
There are many different walking routes in Ibiza. Along narrow paths to the sea or walk through rugged terrain. Along the way, you'll encounter historic remnants such as ancient defensive towers strategically placed to protect former residents from pirates, and breathtaking viewpoints over rugged cliffs. Mountain bike trails
In addition to an extensive walking network, you can also enjoy cycling in Ibiza. And especially fans of heavier mountain bike trails will get their money's worth. The island is mountainous and it is a lot of calf-biting. There are about 40 different routes. One route passes small villages while the other route goes right through a nature reserve. Several routes also run along the coast. For example, you can start at Sant Antonio Bay and then end up at one of the beaches of Comte via the west coast of Ibiza. This route is about 12 kilometers long and on the way you pass the small beaches and the beautiful bay Port D'Es Torrent.
You can also cycle a 'one way' route. For example, you start in Sant Antonio after which you cycle along an old and sometimes unpaved road towards San Rafael, then you are close to hotel CanLluc. Along the way you will pass some rocky formations, pine trees and traditional gardens. This route is suitable for everyone. If you prefer to exert yourself less, rent an e-bike.
Snorkeling
A lot cheaper than diving is going snorkeling for a day with your own goggles or mask, or you rent one. The bays and coves in the north of the island in particular are good snorkeling locations, plus of course the wide variety of fish and the UNESCO-listed Posidonia seaweed grasslands that provide the clear azure water.
