As a frequent driver, I've often meant to buy a dedicated iPhone car mount but keep forgetting—and it saves me around €10 each time. Yet, relying on Google Maps without a stable holder isn't ideal for safe navigation.
Thankfully, I've discovered a clever, no-cost solution using just a rubber band. Here's how it works:

1. Grab a sturdy rubber band, like these common ones.
2. Thread the rubber band through your car's air vents, as shown in the photo.
3. Slide your iPhone into the band so it stands securely on its own.
You now have a reliable iPhone car holder! It's simple, practical, effective, and incredibly budget-friendly—perfect for impromptu drives when you lack a dedicated mount.
This works for any smartphone, including Android models or iPhones like the XS, XR, SE, 11, 12, or 12 Pro Max; Samsung Galaxy series (A51, A10, S10, S20); Huawei (P30, P Smart, Nova 7i, Y9s, P40 Pro), and more.
Important safety note: Use this only for GPS navigation. Never check your phone while driving—it's dangerous!
