Every spring, more than a million visitors wander the 32 hectares of Keukenhof in Lisse, just 35 km from Amsterdam—the world's largest tulip garden. This year, however, the COVID-19 pandemic forced its closure to the public, a first in its 71-year history.
Especially poignant since Keukenhof opens only from mid-March to mid-May, unveiling 700,000 vibrant tulips. Dutch landscape photographer Albert Dros secured special access for a day, capturing its splendor and sharing these captivating images on Instagram for everyone to savor.
