Every summer, Strasbourg's thousand-year-old cathedral captivates visitors with a stunning illumination show. In 2016, the theme 'The Timeless Light' traces light's journey through time—from birth and evolution to extinction and rebirth—via immersive video, light, and sound displays. Each evening, 690 candles light up the cathedral and surroundings for 15 minutes of pure magic. Stars may be absent from the sky, but they'll sparkle in every onlooker's eyes.
Every evening until September 18, 2016 (July: 10:30 p.m./11:00 p.m./11:30 p.m./12:00 a.m.; August: 10:15 p.m./10:45 p.m./11:15 p.m./11:45 p.m.; September: 9:15 p.m./9:45 p.m./10:15 p.m.).
