5 activities to enjoy Strasbourg this summer

The illuminations of the cathedral

Every summer, the thousand-year-old cathedral is rediscovered from every angle through an original illumination show. In 2016, the theme is the journey of light through time. Declined in different paintings, between video, light and sound, the show "The timeless light" tells the latter between birth, evolution, extinction and rebirth. Every evening, some 690 candles will illuminate the cathedral and its surroundings for a quarter of an hour of wonder. If there are no stars in the sky, for sure they will be in every eye.

Every evening until September 18, 2016 (in July:10:30 p.m. / 11:00 p.m. / 11:30 p.m. / 12:00 a.m., in August:10:15 p.m. / 10:45 p.m. / 11:15 p.m. / 11:45 p.m. and in September:9:15 p.m. / 9:45 p.m. / 10:15 p.m.).

Entertainment for children from 3 years old (electric boats, kayaks, rowing boats...) but also for adults, or simply lazing on the sand, it's a very pleasant place to enjoy the summer heat.
