Announced on October 11 alongside its booking partner Viator, this pivotal move has earned praise from leading advocates, including the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and PETA. PETA publicly congratulated TripAdvisor on Twitter. To build on this, the platform will launch an educational hub on animal welfare in tourism destinations.
