Who says age limits adventure? Baba Lena, an 89-year-old Russian grandmother, is living proof otherwise. Dreams deferred in her youth due to life's constraints are now reality in her retirement years.
In the 1970s, she explored Poland, Prague, and East Germany, but limited time and funds forced an early end. At 83, Baba Lena embraced solo travel with just a backpack. Since then, she's visited Turkey, the Czech Republic, Germany, Vietnam, Israel, and Thailand. Her next stop: the Dominican Republic to celebrate turning 90. Truly remarkable.
