Unusual:holidays in the footsteps of manga in Japan

With whom?

With the tour operator Selectour Afat.

Where are we going exactly?

Arrival in Tokyo, we stroll through the trendy district of Harajuku, especially on Takeshita Street, famous for the many cosplayers who meet there, we discover the quieter Cat Street and its eccentric storefronts, we walk on the Omotesando , the local Champs Elysées, we go into raptures at Kiddy Land, a famous store rich in manga… We also discover the time of a full morning the Tokyo One Piece Tower, where the universe of the series is lived through attractions, shows… The opportunity to have fun with the cartoon characters (Luffy, Chopper…), and also to discover a whole collection of limited edition souvenirs. On the same day, we continue with the visit to the Studio Ghinli Museum, a must for all fans of director Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle...). In Akihabara, not far from Tokyo, we shop manga, figurines and derivative products at the Nakano Broadway shopping center. In Kyoto, the second highlight of the program will be a visit to Nukumori no Mori, a village that seems straight out of Studio Ghibli, discovery of the famous Nijo castle, the Kinkakuji temple, the Imperial Palace and of course the unmissable International Museum manga. Without forgetting a full day at the Toei Kyoto Studio Park amusement park… Totally exotic!
