The Holidu vacation rental search engine has listed the ten best destinations for camping this summer in France , by the sea. To establish this ranking, all the coastal towns with more than 800 inhabitants were selected and then evaluated according to three parameters:the number of searches carried out on Google with "campsite + name of the destination", the number of available campsites and the average number of hours of sunshine. At the top of the list, the Saint-Jean-de-Monts seaside resort in Vendee. Known as the "Côte de Lumière" it is appreciated for its long sandy beaches, its forest and its freshwater marsh ideal for fishing or walking. The Atlantic coast is popular because the Charente-Maritime and the Landes are also among the favorite destinations.
