My 7 Tips For Traveling Light Like A Frequent Traveler.

Want to pack light when you go on vacation?

It's always a dilemma when you go on a trip:you want to take everything with you for fear of missing out.

As a result, we leave with super heavy and bulky suitcases.

Fortunately, thanks to my clever advice, you will travel light. Go ahead, globetrotters!

Here is how I proceed to lighten my travel bag as much as possible:

1. Make piles of clothes by dividing them by gender

Jeans with jeans, sweaters with sweaters... And I only take one or two of each. That's what real travelers do:no frills, we're not going to do a fashion show!

2. Roll clothes "maki" style

Clothes bundled up in a suitcase take up twice as much space. Believe my experience, rolling your clothes is the best option, for two reasons:it avoids creasing them and it takes up almost no space.

3. I prefer microfiber clothes

Because they fold more easily and take up less space. T-shirt, shorts, towel, it's a considerable saving of space and weight!

4. I never take anything I can borrow or buy locally

For example, sunscreen, detergent, toothpaste, mosquito repellent...

If you are traveling with several people, also avoid taking the same item (a single sunscreen, a single shower gel, etc.) and try to distribute the loads between the travellers.

5. I take samples

Eh yes ! It is while traveling that all the small samples collected from magazines or cosmetics shops can save your life. Not only do they not take up space, but in addition, thanks to their small capacity, you can take them with you on the plane.

6. I double check what I REALLY need

Did you know that 20% of the things you take on a trip are never used during your stay?

7. During the trip, I carry the heaviest clothes on me

Anyway, whether in an airport, a train station or hitchhiking, the temperature always drops at one time or another. That's why I always keep a sweater or sweatshirt available.
