Travel:Generation Y is thirsty for adventure!

Travel agency Contiki, which specializes in travel for young people, asked 5,000 people aged 18 to 35 about their dream destinations for 2017. The result could not be clearer:Millennials are hungry for adventure and new experiences, and partying is no longer a priority when they go on a trip. Bathing in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, treading the Great Wall of China, exploring Yosemite National Park in the United States… Here are some of the destinations most coveted by Millennials.

The Blue Lagoon takes first place

The turquoise waters and the breathtaking scenery of the Blue Lagoon (in Iceland) rise to the top step of the podium. The Pyramids of Giza, a vestige of ancient Egypt, follow closely and win the silver medal of the most coveted destinations. The bronze medal, meanwhile, is awarded to the Great Wall of China, the longest human construction ever built. There is no doubt that these three destinations are worth the detour! In the top 20, we also find the unmissable Road Trip on Route 66 in 6th place, the gondola ride in Venice (7th), partying in Las Vegas (11th), taking it easy in Byron Bay in Australia (4th) or cycle through Amsterdam (20th)! What about us then? Rest assured:France seduces again and again since it is found three times in the ranking. Kissing at the foot of the Eiffel Tower (a classic!) takes 8th place, picnicking in the French countryside comes in 10th position, and seeing the Mona Lisa comes in 15th! What to give ideas...
