World Happiness Report 2016: The Top 10 Happiest Countries Revealed

Ahead of World Happiness Day on March 20, the United Nations released its 2016 World Happiness Report, ranking 156 countries by happiness levels. The top 10 nations remain the same as last year, though their order has shifted. Denmark claims the top spot as the world's happiest country, trailed closely by Switzerland, Iceland, and Norway. Rounding out the list are Finland, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, and Sweden. The United States rose to 13th place, up two positions from the previous year. This is the fourth annual edition of the influential report.
