Our Honest Family Review of Landal Seawest Denmark: Kid-Friendly Facilities and Nearby Adventures

We've dreamed of a Denmark family holiday for years, and this summer we finally stayed at Landal Seawest, a premier holiday park in West Jutland near the stunning coast. As experienced Landal guests, we share our firsthand insights on the park, accommodations, and activities perfect for families with children.

Our two-week summer trip started with a week in a safari tent at Lago Maggiore, followed by an invitation to a comfortable house at Landal Seawest (also known as Dayz Seawest). Two contrasting holiday styles: one a 12+ hour drive south, this one about 12 hours north from Schijndel (normally 8 hours or 800km, despite German roadworks).

Landal Seawest Holiday Park Denmark

We've stayed at several Landal parks before, including a memorable family trip to Austria last year with spotless accommodations and breathtaking nature. Each park offers unique features, and Landal Seawest delivers a fresh Scandinavian vibe amid coastal landscapes. Here's our expert take based on real experience.

No Landal park has ever disappointed us, though facilities vary. This guide covers everything at Landal Seawest.

Landal Seawest Reception

Finding reception took a moment—it's inside the pool building. Enter the park, turn right into the parking lot, and go through the revolving doors for seamless check-in. A welcoming staff member assisted us quickly, directing us to house 100 (previously stayed in by the Bellinga family).

Note: Bookings exclude utilities—expect about €90/week for a family of four (electricity, heating, water), settled at reception.

Arrival at the House at Landal Denmark

The kids eagerly dashed to the door, thrilled by the keyless code entry. After a quick sibling debate, we settled the 'opener vs. closer' roles—practical since the code locks on exit.

We chose a spacious 6-person detached bungalow, luxurious for our family of four. Fully equipped with ample room; note that as private properties, interiors may vary slightly in furnishings.

Photos capture it best, but highlights include private WiFi, a relaxing hot tub (kid-approved and parent-work-friendly), and daily breakfast delivery for perfect mornings.

The Look & Feel of This Landal Holiday Park

Landal Seawest stands out with its open, Scandinavian-style architecture and panoramic views—airy and distinctive compared to denser parks we've visited.

Packed with family facilities, here's what impressed us most.

The Landal Seawest Tropical Swimming Pool

This clean, well-sized pool shines with two thrilling slides (one dark, one tire-assisted), wave machine, ball play areas, floating mats, bubble baths, loungers, and a lazy river cave. Spend hours entertained.

Pro tip: Danish rules require nude pre-swim showers (gender-separated) with wet hair—enforced strictly!

Indoor and Outdoor Play

Denmark's unpredictable weather is no issue with versatile options. Outdoors: playground, trampolines (including air cushions, a local favorite). Indoors: badminton, bowling, play paradise, mini-golf, billiards.

Great weather kept us exploring, but we enjoyed the pool on arrival day.

Restaurants at Landal Seawest in Denmark

Three family-friendly spots: Diner & Café for quick burgers, sandwiches, kebabs (our post-swim favorite); Family Buffet for variety (solid for kids); Pizzeria Steakhouse (next-time pick).
