This summer, French travelers are prioritizing sunny escapes with dreamy swimming spots. Leading the pack is Casablanca, Morocco's iconic "White City," packed with picturesque cultural and natural attractions.
Close behind are Morocco's Marrakech (the "Red City"), the UNESCO-listed medina of Fez (since 1981), and Oujda near the Algerian border. Spain shines with Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. In seventh place is Lisbon, one of Portugal's largest coastal cities. Rounding out the list is Malta, specifically the serene locality of Luqa.
