We tested. The Oligo-Marine cure at Alliance Pornic Resort Hôtel Thalasso &Spa

What is it?

A 6-day cure and 31 treatments to stimulate the immune system and balance the body thanks to its refill in minerals and trace elements.

Care.

We start with a medical visit to determine the dosage of the Quinton Serum cure (see below) necessary, then we continue with an Oligoscan session – a device that measures in a few minutes the deficiencies or excesses in minerals and the possible presence of heavy metals -, and a dietary consultation. Then it's time for thalassotherapy treatments:6 hydromassage baths with seaweed, 6 revitalizing laminar seaweed wraps, 2 soothing affusion showers, 2 pressure jets, 2 underwater showers, 2 aerosols, complete with spa treatments:1 body scrub with 3 salts, 2 affusion massages and 6 massages with remineralising oils.

Why is it good?

More complete, we do not see! We benefit from the benefits of the sea through the air we breathe, the sound of the waves we hear, the Quinton Serum that we absorb morning and evening – ampoules of sea water drawn from more than 20 m deep in a vortex off the Bay of Biscay, to provide the body with all the trace elements and minerals it needs -, fresh seaweed (Breton kombu, flat fucus, sea lichen, wakame, etc.) that we savor daily with the organic "Detox/Marine" cuisine of the restaurant La Terrasse and of course the seaweed-rich thalassotherapy treatments. Radical!

What do we do between treatments?

You can make the most of the seawater aquatic course at 33°C, the hammam, the sauna or even the fitness room. Outddor, we follow the coastal path to reach the historic center of Pornic, admiring the fisheries on one side, and the opulent villas with fragrant gardens in the Gourmalon district on the other. Then, place to visit Pornic between lower town and upper town built on a rocky outcrop. Need a break? It's at La Fraiseraie that it happens, to savor a delicious cirafine strawberry sorbet on the Place du Petit Nice while watching the ballet of seagulls and boats below.

Where do we eat?

Full board is strongly recommended to optimize the benefits of the cure and frankly, it would be a shame to do otherwise as the organic cuisine of chef Dominique Mauge at the restaurant La Terrasse is rich in flavors and creativity:raspberry with spirulina, millefeuille of artichoke and potato simmered in Royal Kombu, carpaccio of scallops with Le Croisic seaweed and its crunchy fennel salad… and dietary thanks to the many fish and seafood available on the menu.

Most.

All the staff (in the restaurant, at the thalasso, at the reception, etc.) show remarkable efficiency and above all friendliness. A detail ? No, a plus that greatly contributes to relaxation! Above all, Alliance Pornic Resort Hotel Thalasso &Spa is managed by Marie-Noëlle Veillet-Berry, expert in thalassotherapy for more than 30 years and author of the guide "Les Bienfaits de la thalasso" published by Marabout Editions. Physioscan (check-up and energy treatment by Bioresonance), MiltaLed (light therapy), cryotherapy, infrared sauna…:the establishment is at the forefront of the latest innovations in thalassotherapy and prevention of health capital. It will be understood, here, it's serious!

Where do we sleep?

In a zen and marine atmosphere at the Alliance Pornic**** hotel, with a private terrace and deckchairs to recover well between treatments.
