We tested:Club Med Les Arcs Panorama, in Savoie

For the beauty of the site

Located in the family resort of Arc 1600 in Savoie, at an altitude of 1,750m, in the Paradiski area, the second largest ski area in France with its 425 km of slopes, Club Med Les Arcs Panorama offers a splendid panoramic view of the Tarentaise valley and the peaks of Mont Blanc.

For its avant-garde architecture

"One of the most beautiful and largest mountain resorts in the world" , as Henri Giscard d'Estaing, President of Club Med, pointed out during the inauguration of the site on December 14, emerged from the ground in barely 18 months, a real feat! Built in the heart of a forest of fir trees and spruces with respect for the environment and nature, this Premium resort (4 Tridents) with an Exclusive Collection Space (5 Tridents), also respects the architectural past of the resort of Les Arcs, labeled "Heritage of the 20th century" and strongly marked by the work of Charlotte Perriand. Inside the 433 rooms divided into 3 categories (Club, Deluxe and Suite) as well as in the common areas or the restaurants, there is room for design! The classic mountain codes are there, but revisited in more modern or stylized colours. Everywhere, the effect of transparency has been favored, allowing both to discover the surrounding mountain and to bring light into the building, all in curves and fluidity. We do not feel at all the gigantism of the place, quite the contrary.

For its "Family Friendly" side

Children's clubs from 4 months to 17 years old, snow garden at the foot of the resort, dedicated ski room, ski lessons included from 4 years old supervised by the ESF (with supplement from 3 years old), heated indoor swimming pool... No doubt, Club Med Les Arcs Panorama is a paradise for families! With the added possibility of having dinner all together at the Bead &Co restaurant where it is the little ones who invite their parents, place an order and play the little chef in joy and good humor. A great moment of "family reconnection" more than an unforgettable gastronomic experience!

And also:

-Thanks to the Easy Arrival service, skis adjusted to our size and weight are waiting on arrival in heated lockers!

-Possibility to ski all day and have lunch at another Club Med resort in the Paradiski area (Peisey Vallandry or La Plagne 2100).

-All Inclusive by Club Med means ski and snowboard lessons supervised by the ESF all week long for groups of around 12 people, and snowshoe outings, Nordic walking and hiking included (3 different activities to discover over 5 days).

-Local products (Beaufort, diots, charcuterie, etc.) largely given pride of place at La Pierre Blanche and 1790 Gourmet Lounge restaurants. Yum!

-Perfect for après-ski, the 600 m2 Cinq Mondes Spa, with indoor/outdoor swimming pool (heated in summer), and outdoor jacuzzi with incredible views.
